Message To Our Valued Clients, Colleagues and Friends

It is with a heavy, yet optimistic, heart that we write to you today. As you have all heard, in response to the COVID-19 contagion, the Governor has issued a "Safer at Home” Order, which directly impacts our legal industry. We have been forced to make some drastic and unexpected changes to our practice in order to comply with the Order.

Rest assured that all attorneys will continue to work on pending matters from their respective home offices and will do so on a regular basis. Therefore, feel free to reach out to your attorney contact via email, as you otherwise would. Attorneys will also regularly check voicemail messages and we will periodically retrieve mail sent to the office. However, all documents requiring review should be emailed, not mailed. Thank you for your cooperation during this time.

Many courts have implemented operational changes and have continued (or taken off-calendar) non-essential matters for several weeks. County recorder’s offices have also closed temporarily. But as the saying goes, the show must go on. There are matters that do not involve the courts’ direct involvement. Attorneys are extending mutual courtesies while we all navigate this new fabric of life. Arbitration hearings, mediations, and depositions will need to adapt to fit the current order. We will continue to work to ensure your matters proceed as efficiently as possible, given the circumstances. With continued monitoring of each matter, we will keep you informed of any expected changes to your case.

During this temporary adjustment, AGR remains open to accepting new business from current and new clients. The attorneys will make themselves available for telephone consultations or videoconferencing.

The partners at AGR - Ken, Bruce, and Sharice - are here to help with your legal needs. We are confident we will come out on the other side of this pandemic with more grateful hearts and a new appreciation for all things we have taken for granted. Our clients have been and will remain top priority. We sincerely hope each of you stay healthy and we look forward to connecting with you soon.

Very Truly Yours,
